ASUS releases new ‘Blue Cave’ AC2600 Wi-Fi router with a blue hole in the center

Asus has launched a new smart Wi-Fi router at Computex 2017. The new router, called Blue Cave, has already won the ‘Best Choice Golden Award’ at Computex 2017. The router comes with commercial-grade security and family-friendly features for consumers while providing ultrafast performance as seen in its AC2600-class rating, with concurrent dual-band speed. The ‘ultrafast’ speed will ensure uninterrupted video streaming of 4K UHD videos across your house, along with faster download speeds and gaming without any lag, promises Asus.
The company designed the router in such a way that the router does not need any antenna. The antenna-less design, when combined with a hole in the middle of the router, makes it one of the most unique and eye-grabbing devices in the market. The company has increased the capacity of the number of devices that simultaneously connected to the Blue Cave significantly to match with the increasing number of connected devices.
The company has added ‘Asus AiProctection’, a free-for-life security solution powered by Trend Micro and SmartHome Network. The solution apparently ensures that IoT and smart devices in the network are protected from hack attacks. One thing to note is that you can access the features provided by Blue Cave using a mobile device, including ‘Family Overview’ to monitor and control each family member’s app and internet usage. Last but not the least, the company has added support for IFTTT to help users create IFTTT-enabled automated tasks.
