Trump to hold first 2020 campaign fundraiser

After already spending five evenings on the road at political rallies, President Trump will hold his first 2020 campaign fundraiser Wednesday night just down the street from the White House at his own hotel. Trump's re-election efforts have already raised more than $7 million from small donations and "Make America Great Again" merchandise sales. Wednesday's event marks Trump's first solicitation of larger donors. Tickets start at $35,000, and proceeds will be split between the re-election campaign and Republican Party.
